A Colourful, Autumnal, Jewel Toned Wedding at Ufton Court
For couples who want to add romantic drama and opulence to their Autumn or Winter wedding then moody deep jewel tone colours are the perfect new choice for trend-led romantics! Here I show you how my Real Wedding Clients Emma & Matthew used this latest wedding trend throughout their Bespoke Wedding Stationery and how they coordinated it with their other wedding suppliers to create an effortless and cohesive aesthetic for their autumnal jewel toned wedding.
When it comes to autumn and winter weddings, popular colour palettes usually include burnt oranges, greens and reds, but there’s a new wedding trend on the market giving all the regal and royal inspiration for a fresh new look incorporating rich jewel tones including ruby red, sapphire blue, emerald green and amethyst purple.
These moody jewel tones create a bold, luxurious and edgy aesthetic that’s perfect for on-trend couples looking for something a bit different. This beautiful mix of opulent dark shades work well with different textures like vintage lace, dark wooden tables, soft velvet accents and metallic gold finishes.
Emma and Matthew wanted their romantic, boho jewel tone wedding to be bold and memorable and they certainly achieved it!
Choosing to hire me as their wedding stationery designer through my Bespoke Design Service we created everything from save the dates and colourful wedding invites with floral envelope liners, to on the day stationery that included a seating plan, table names, order of the day cards and a cat illustrated cocktail menu! We even designed matching thank you cards afterwards, making sure they had fully cohesive stationery throughout their wedding stationery journey.
They designed their jewel tone wedding invitations to coordinate with the rich colours and florals used throughout Ufton Court wedding venue. Their autumn jewel-toned theme was carried through every detail, in collaboration with their florist, venue stylist, and even their cake designer, who incorporated the hexagonal shapes and metallic gold accents from the invitations into the cake itself.
Emma and Matthew’s jewel toned wedding invitations set the tone for a day that was both opulent and deeply personal. The rich, saturated hues created a romantic, luxurious feel that beautifully reflected their unique personalities. With a perfect balance of timeless elegance and modern flair, their jewel-toned palette brought a sense of warmth and sophistication to the celebration, transforming the day into an unforgettable, visually stunning experience.
“A stunning & absolutely wonderful service! We worked with Emily right from save the dates & invitations, to on the day stationery & thank you cards. Emily has been a pleasure to work with right from the start and absolutely brought our vision to life and every single guest raved about the invitations, saying how gorgeous they were. I really enjoyed working with Emily - she’s so talented and creative and I really felt our stationery elevated the build up to the day, as well as being a star on the day itself. Thank you for making this whole process a dream, Emily! I would highly recommend working with Emily for your wedding, you won’t regret it.”
